About Isles of Calamity

A free-to-play online RPG of isle-hopping adventure and deep skilling — a living world you share with everyone else sailing it, built by Pixel Glitch Studios.

Our vision

We're building the kind of world we never wanted to log out of: approachable enough to pick up in an afternoon, deep enough to spend years mastering. A place where the grind is honest, your choices leave a mark, and the world keeps turning whether you're online or not.

No pay-to-win. No slot machines dressed up as gameplay. Just a big, strange archipelago full of skills to train, things to make, places to explore, and other people to run into along the way.

What we care about

A world that remembers

Fully server-authoritative and persistent. Your progress — and the world's state — is real, shared, and yours to keep.

Deep, honest skilling

Many skills, real mastery, and rewards you earn. Time and cleverness pay off; your wallet doesn't.

Adventure across the isles

Explore, gather, fight, and trade across a map that rewards curiosity and remembers where you've been.

Play your way

Free or members, PvP or peaceful, solo or social — pick a world that fits how you want to play, and hop any time.

Fair for everyone

Because the server is the source of truth, cheating has nowhere to hide. We'd rather build slowly and fairly than fast and broken.

Built to last

An online architecture made for the long haul — so the isles can grow for years without leaving your character behind.

Who we are

Pixel Glitch Studios is a small independent studio building Isles of Calamity. We're a crew that grew up on the classic online RPGs and cozy-but-deep adventures — and we're making the one we always wanted next.

Isles of Calamity is in active development. We're building it carefully and online-first, and we'll share progress as it comes together.
