Hello, adventurers!

This update is all about skilling. The familiar rhythm of gathering a resource, turning it into something useful and watching your levels climb is now taking shape across the isles.

Gather, Make, Repeat

Woodcutting, Fishing, Firemaking and Mining now run through their full action loops. That means checking the right tool or fishing spot, spending time on the action, receiving the correct resource and earning XP when the job is done.

  • Woodcutting checks your axe, the tree and your backpack before handing over logs.
  • Fishing supports different fishing spots and their catches, including net, bait and lure fishing.
  • Firemaking consumes the log you light instead of creating a free fire.
  • Mining awards the ore attached to the rock you worked.

On the production side, Cooking now consumes its ingredients and can produce either a cooked or burnt result. Blacksmithing brings ore and fuel together for bars and equipment, while the other crafting skills are being connected to the same item-and-reward flow.

Your Skills, Your Progress

Each adventurer now keeps their own skill levels, action timers and rewards. If two players chop the same type of tree or cook at the same range, their XP and materials remain completely separate.

We have also moved skilling onto the proper level 1–999 progression curve. The numbers will continue to be balanced as more content arrives, but the journey from a fresh skill to true mastery is now the one we intend to build on.

What's Next?

Next up is more skilling content in the world: additional resource tiers, recipes, tools, animations and clearer feedback when an action succeeds or fails. We'll also continue tuning gathering times and rewards so every skill has its own pace and purpose.

See you at the trees, rocks and fishing spots!
