Every adventure leaves you with something to carry—logs from the forest, ore from the mines, a new weapon or a backpack full of things you probably meant to bank an hour ago.

This update brings several parts of the item system together, from the moment an item enters your backpack to the moment you equip, bank, drop or trade it.

A Backpack That Stays Organised

Backpack slots now keep their position. Moving an item leaves an empty slot behind instead of shifting everything else around, and you can move or swap items without your layout changing underneath you.

Stackable items fill existing stacks first, while unique equipment keeps its own identity and bonuses.

Weapons, Armour and Ammunition

Equipment now has dedicated slots for weapons, shields, armour and ammunition. The game checks whether an item can actually be worn and whether you meet its requirements before equipping it.

  • Equipping a two-handed weapon removes your shield.
  • Equipping a shield while using a two-handed weapon puts the weapon away.
  • Ammunition of the same type stacks in its equipment slot.
  • If your backpack has no room for displaced gear, the equipment change is safely refused.

Banks, Shops and Ground Items

Personal banks can now hold item stacks and grow through capacity upgrades. Shop purchases check both your coins and your available backpack space, while selling an item checks that the shop can actually pay you before taking it.

Dropped items now have their own place in the world, an owner-protection period and a cleanup timer. We are keeping pickup by other players closed until the transfer can be completed safely from one character to another.

Safer Trading

Player trading uses two confirmation screens. Change either offer and both players must accept again, so a last-second item switch cannot slip through under an old confirmation.

The trade window itself is still in development, but these are the rules it will use when it arrives.
