How voting shapes the isles
Isles of Calamity is built in the open, and these polls are one of the clearest ways
players steer it. Each poll puts a real decision in front of the community — which skill
to expand next, which quest to write, which quality-of-life change to prioritise — and
the results go straight to the team's planning board. Voting is advisory rather than
binding: it tells us where players most want our effort, and we weigh it alongside what
the game needs to stay fair, balanced, and stable.
How it works
- One vote per poll. Every account gets a single say on each question,
so a poll reflects the community rather than whoever clicks most.
- Live results. The moment you vote, the tally appears and keeps
updating as other players weigh in.
- Open while it matters. A poll runs while its decision is still live;
when it closes, the outcome carries forward into what we build.
What your vote feeds into
Poll outcomes sit alongside the rest of our public planning. You can follow the direction
of the game on the roadmap — what's live, what's in development, and
what's still being explored — and read the reasoning behind bigger changes on the
news & dev blog. When a poll here settles a question, that's where
you'll see it turn into a plan.
No poll running right now? New questions open throughout development, so check
back — or join the community to hear the moment the next one goes live.
